What Information Do We Collect?
Core reading features work locally on your device. Optional account/community features process limited account and content data.
Hadith Collection is designed so core reading features can function on your device with local storage. If you enable authentication, post in community spaces, or use sync/restore features, we process the minimum data required to provide those features (for example, account identifiers, profile data, and content you choose to post or sync).
Data Stored Locally on Your Device:
The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:
- Bookmarked Hadiths
- Personal notes on Hadiths
- App settings and preferences
- Reading history
Subscription Information
For users with premium subscriptions, we receive limited, non-personal information from Apple or Google:
What We Receive:
- Subscription status (active/inactive)
- Anonymous subscription identifier
- Subscription tier (Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium)
What We Do NOT Receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Payment information or credit card details
- Billing address
- Transaction history
Authentication and Account Data
When you sign in, we process account identifiers and basic profile information needed to secure your account and support account-based features.
Community Posts and Content
If you create posts, comments, or other community content, that content is processed and stored to provide community functionality and moderation.
Sync and Restore Data
If you enable sync or restore, selected app data may be processed so your experience can be restored across devices tied to your account.
Third-Party Services
While we do not collect your data, the app interacts with third-party services in limited ways:
App Stores
Hadith Collection is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect their own analytics according to their privacy policies. We do not have access to this data.
Payment Processing

Cloud Backup
If you use your device's cloud backup features, locally stored app data may be backed up according to your device settings. This is controlled by your device operating system and backup provider settings, not directly by our app.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers required to run account, community, sync, and security features, or when required by law.
How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Local-only data remains on your device. Account or community data is retained only as needed to provide features, enforce safety, and meet legal obligations.
How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
Since we do not collect your information, there is no data to secure on our end. Your app data is stored securely on your device using your device's built-in security features.
Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not collect data from anyone, including minors. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 13 years old, or have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app.
What Are Your Privacy Rights?
You may manage account data from app settings, revoke permissions in your device settings, and request deletion of account-based data where applicable.

If you are a resident of the EEA and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. However, we emphasize that we do not collect or process any personal information.
California Residents
